Opry Backstage Grill: Taste Southern Comfort Food in Nashville

Had a business dinner here. The music was fun, but definitely not the place to plan a meeting where you want to hear each other talk! Food was pretty timely. Server was attentive.

The wife and I have been in Nashville 3 days (from Louisiana) and this is the first meal we've had worth eating. Everything was great, the place was clean and friendly. We didn't catch a "band" but one young lady played guitar and sang a few songs and done so very beautifully. So, we had Brisket, steak and shrimp, fries, Mac n cheese, cheesecake and chocolate cake. Everything was great, we left in complete misery from eating so much.

Went here for dinner. BBQ burger was tasty, hot and cooked to perfection. Tender Chicken strips and chips, large amount of chicken for the price. Had appetiser/sharing platter to start between 3, which was ample. Side dish of Mac cheese, was hugely disappointing, like stodge. No one wanted to eat it. Nice atmosphere, no live band but background music on a big screen at stage. Staff ok.

This is a nice place to eat or grab a drink before heading to the Opry for a show. Live music and friendly atmosphere. Our server was decent but rarely checked on us, especially being that we were her only table. I had Korean barbecued wings fried and we also ordered the brisket. They were pretty good. I wouldn’t say the best I’ve had but pre-show… it was everything I expected. I would recommend and I would definitely go back, especially for the live music.

Late review.. We had dinner here twice in April, fried green tomatoes, deep fried pickles and loaded tots appetizers were delicious. BBQ and fish were awesome. Drinks were great and not overly priced. The staff were super nice and the customers were just as friendly. Everyone there was having a great time listening to live music that didn’t overpower table conversations. We will definitely come back if we are in the area.

Excellent service, very attentive and cheerful staff. Pork shoulder was delicious, brisket was alright, ribs were great. Tried grits for the first time and asked if they were supposed to be warm. Apparently they are, server immediately corrected the problem an it when hot, it is super good. Happy to have eaten here!!

Loved everything about our dinner with 9 people. Food was good, prices were reasonable, staff was friendly and helpful with the menu and live music was amazing!

Live music. Surf and turf was cooked and seasoned perfectly. They honored my Passenger Meal Voucher and staffing were very accommodating and kind.
